Our tours have been created to try to avoid the crowds. Each location has been chosen not just because of its beauty and unique story, but these places are special to Jamie. He grew up here and these are his favourite places! The Private Loch Ness Experience was created from a family day out. The Untamed North West is on a road he learned to drive on! The Heroes and Villains covers harbours fished at as a child, a church he was married in and a beach he went skinny dipping! The Alternative Loch Ness was another family day out, and our whisky experience are his favourite drams! Our cultural heritage is woven in to each experience, so you don't just come away with fantastic photos, but you leave that bit closer to understanding our land its people and their stories, not to mention some fantastic food! You can expect to learn about the topography, how it inspired our traditional music, spawned countless tales, both true and, well.....some creative! For those who want a little more exploring, we take you around the river Affric. We will spend around an hour in the beautiful setting of Glen Affric before heading back down the road and across the glen to Plodda Falls, one of Scotland's most spectacular waterfalls and take in the dramatic water cascade from above and below! There is also a 45 min forest walk through the impressive Douglas Firs where we can slow things down and enjoy what it means to be in the Highlands of Scotland. You will have worked up an appetite by now so a lunch stop at the old coach house in the Victorian model conservation village of Tomich will be our next stop before we travel down Strath Glass and on to the pretty town of Beauly and it's ruined priory. After about 45 minutes to enjoy the various art dealers, independent gifts shops and cafes, we will take the "old" road back to Inverness, along the Beauly Firth and the Black Isle.
